All Those Food Market’s spring edition will be held again at the iconic National Theatre of Catalonia next week-end on April 21-22. This will be the second time this event will take place at this unique venue, which does not need much of an introduction. This popular Food Market festival has been created for all people passionate about food. It showcases artisans and entrepreneurs of the local gastronomic scene who add value to their communities and who are using raw and locally sourced materials, all ecological and seasonal.
Following up on the philosophy of past editions, there will be again special attention paid to children and Mammaproof Barcelona will make sure tiny visitors (age 0-3) will have a fun area to rest and play with their parents whenever they feel like it. The “Espacio Family Welcome” will be offered in collaboration with el Niu (a family space located in Horta).
For older children there will be workshops offered such as “Creating Your Own Urban Herb Garden” where they will learn how to plant strawberries. Please note those workshops can be booked in advance here.
The entrance fee to the festival is 2 Euros and kids under the age of 12 enter for free. Tickets can be bought at the venue on the day of the event. On Saturday it all starts at 11am and will end at 11pm. On Sunday the timing is 11am-8pm.
Good to know: If you have pre-booked a workshop you can avoid standing in line at the entrance (though the entrance fee is not included when purchasing the ticket of a workshop).
Enjoy the festival!
